Named after an historic mill town, New City Brewery is dedicated to crafting fine ales and lagers with a focus on pre-prohibition style alcoholic ginger beer. Founded by three lifelong friends and an award-winning brewer, New City is driven to reflect the tradition and culture of Western Massachusetts by brewing world-class craft beer heavily inspired by the local landscape and culture. Our beers are designed to be as bold, intrepid and resolute as the hard-working people of New England.
Focused on reviving the pre-prohibition style of alcoholic ginger beer, New City Brewery is naturally crazy about ginger. Brewmaster and owner Sam Dibble has been brewing with ginger for nearly a decade, perfecting the art of extracting delicate flavor and just the right amount of heat from freshly ground root.

Ginger Beer

New City flagship brew is bursting with tropical citrus and heaps of fresh ginger. Naturally fermented with a spicy, effervescent bite and a clean, crisp finish. New City Ginger Beer is naturally gluten free, made from the finest ingredients, with no additives or preservatives.

New City Mule

The Mule features the smooth lingering spice of ginger with a stimulating burst of fresh lime. Inspired by the traditional Moscow Mule, we brew our New City Mule with the finest all natural ingredients to ensure an extremely refreshing and quaffable beverage. Best over ice, with a sprig or a slice.

6% ABV

Microburst Imperial IPA

Massive doses of Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra late in the boil paired with the finest Pilsner and Golden Promise malts. Bursting with tropical fruit and citrus, Microburst is a beautifully well balanced and strong IPA that reflects careful ingredient selection and dedication to style.

8.2% ABV

Fenway Froth

This hoppy, golden ale is a S.M.a.S.H. (single malt and single hop). Featuring Golden Promise Scottish barley and Ekuanot hops, this bright ale is fruity, slightly dank, and extremely drinkable. We're honored to serve this beer on our bar top formerly of Fenway Park.

5% ABV

Signature IPA

Our flagship IPA is carefully infused with the unique and sought after flavor of Ekuanot hops. Dry-hopped, well-balanced, and multi-layered. Our most popular beer.

6.8% ABV, 73 IBU

Pioneer Valley Porter

One of our favorite styles. Our robust porter has a complex malt profile featuring notes ofvanilla bean and chocolate. Clean, warming finish.

6.4% ABV, 42 IBU
